Using a storytelling ideation method that I developed, I directed a super talented team who came forward with a beautiful idea for Valentine’s Day and any day after that. The original idea gave consumers a simple way to leave little expressions of love in their home. As we developed the idea, the target shifted to showing appreciation to kids.
As kids get older and more independent, it’s sometimes difficult to break through and let them know that you care, so sometimes you just have to “bug ’em” to let them know they are loved. I helped the team turn the idea into a financially successful, sustainable multi-year product program.
